Health Partners International supports the health managers, policy makers and communities to use information for informed planning, decision-making and action.
We strengthen systems, develop capacity and apply technological innovations to increase access to health information; generating accurate and timely data, monitoring and evaluating information about health outcomes to improve accountability.
This includes catalysing the adoption of open source, web-based software and mobile technology for District Health Information Systems (DHIS2) across the whole of Nigeria, revolutionising access to HMIS data, a key milestone in the history of strengthening HMIS in Nigeria. To do this HPI works closely with partner organisation HISP.
Routine Health Management Information System (HMIS) data is used to monitor, evaluate and hold responsible and accountable health programs and services.
We support the establishment of operational research initiatives to support the implementation of responsive and adaptive interventions to maximise impact and scale up equitable access to services.
